If you're unhappy with your CBSE Class 10 or 12 board results, don’t panic — CBSE has simplified the revaluation process in 2025. According to the official circular dated 02.05.2025, the sequence of steps has changed to make the process more transparent and student-friendly.

📌 NEW CBSE REVALUATION SYSTEM FOR 2025

Unlike previous years, where verification came first, this year the first step is to obtain a photocopy of your evaluated answer sheet. This change allows you to check your paper in detail before applying for rechecking or revaluation.

Step-by-Step Roadmap for CBSE Revaluation (2025)

Step 1: Apply for Photocopy of Evaluated Answer Sheet

  • Purpose: To see your actual evaluated answer book, including marks, teacher’s comments, and possible errors.

  • When?: Results are already declared (Soon dates will be available on the CBSE website).

  • Expected Fee: ₹500 per subject (Class 10 & 12)

Step 2: Apply for Verification of Marks OR Revaluation

  • Verification of Marks

    • Checks for totaling errors or unmarked answers.

    • Expected Fee: ₹500 per subject

  • Revaluation of Specific Questions

    • Detailed rechecking of specific questions.

    • Available only after photocopy is received

    • Expected Fee: ₹100 per question

📎 You can apply for both verification and revaluation depending on what you find in the photocopy.

💡 Why This New System Is Better

  • No blind applications – you see your paper first.

  • More transparency – teacher comments are visible.

  • You control the next step – only apply for revaluation if needed.
